Early Childhood Education

The Fast Forward program in Childcare and Early
Childhood Education
was developed by technical centers, the Community College of Vermont and the Vermont Childcare Apprenticeship program. Students who enroll in the Early Childhood Education/Human Services program at one of the participating technical centers may be eligible for up to 13 credits in early childhood education through the Community College of Vermont. There is no cost for the program. Students should meet with their high school guidance counselor or local technical center guidance department to enroll in the program. To receive college credit, students must meet the eligibility requirements of the college.

Community College of Vermont -
Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education

The associate degree can be a stepping stone to further studies or an end in itself. Either way, its value can't be beat in terms of earning power, skill-building, and confidence-boosting. Our degree programs provide the knowledge you need for employment or further study at the bachelor's level.

At CCV, you can pursue a degree at your own pace, on your own schedule. Choose one of our many associate degree programs or if you prefer, design your own concentration using a combination of CCV, transfer, and assessed credit. You can enroll either full or part-time for most CCV degree programs. Either way, you are eligible for financial aid counseling, academic advising, and all CCV services.
